Cassius Mailula could be set for a surprise move this winter just over a year after signing with MLS side Toronto, the Siya crew can reveal.
Mailula has struggled for game time at Toronto and has since lost his place under Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos who had been critical from day one about his move.

The 23-year-old has been with the club since last year, having joined after an impressive season with Mamelodi Sundowns where he had 19 goal contributions from over 30 matches across all competitions.
As part of the plans for the talented player to get more game time, a move away from Toronto could be on the cards for him, sources have indicated.
It is believed that former Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena could be interested in having the Ga-Molepo-born player at his new club Wydad.
"There is interest in Cassius Mailula and there could be a move for him in this transfer window. There are two clubs interested in him. One of the clubs is Wydad, while the other team is from Croatia," said the source.

"Like I say, there is a possibility of a move but it is likely to be on loan and not a permanent one. Coach Rulani is keen on reuniting with the player," the source added.
Mailula's contract with Toronto runs until 2026 with an option for the deal to be extended to 2027.
