Indications are that Mamelodi Sundowns look set to have a big boost ahead of the Betway Premiership next month, with Thembinkosi Lorch expected to be fit to be considered for selection.
The former Orlando Pirates star recently returned to training after recovering from an injury he sustained at the end of last season and has been working his way back to full fitness.

Indications are that he won't be fully fit to be considered for this weekend's MTN8 clash against Polokwane City, but there is a big chance of him getting a nod in the 18-man squad for the opening weekend of the Premiership season. Sundowns will take on Tshwane rivals SuperSport United on the opening weekend of the season.
Should Sundowns get through to the semi-finals of the MTN8, however, Lorch could make it back into the team. The 30-year-old has a lot of catching up to do to impress the technical team after missing the pre-season tour of Austria.
During that period, Sundowns introduced new signings Kobamelo Kodisang and Arthur Sales in attack, while Lorch had to watch from back home in South Africa.
