According to Yahoo Sport, the Red Devils are closing in on the acquisition of Bayern Munich and Morocco right-back Noussair Mazraoui.
Last season's FA Cup winners are reportedly set to part ways with between £15 million (R352.8 million) and £20 million (R470.5 million) for the 26-year-old's signature.
It is said, however, that United could need to wait to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka before formalising the transfer.
Mazraoui had previously appeared close to committing to a move to West Ham United before talks between his agents and the London side broke down.
United manager Erik ten Hag is very familiar with the Dutch-born Morocco international, whom he coached at Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam.
Mazraoui made 137 appearances under the 54-year-old in the Netherlands before their respective departures in 2022.
