As Erik ten Hag aims to strengthen his side ahead of next season, INEOS chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his appointed team have been hard at work in this window so far. Last week, the Red Devils announced the signing of 18-year-old centre-back Leny Yoro from Lille.
The 2023/24 FA Cup champions parted ways with a staggering €62 million in order to secure the Frenchman, beating 15-time UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid to his signature after it initially appeared he preferred a switch to Los Blancos.
Yoro made his first appearance in red in a pre-season friendly win over Rangers this past weekend, playing the first 45 minutes before being substituted. Mason Greenwood's departure, meanwhile, was announced on the same evening after he completed a €26 million (R516.8 million) move to Olympique Marseille.
