There are some players who have not travelled with the team, most of them being players who were out on loan and returned to Chloorkop.
Goalkeeper Ricardo Goss is in South Africa and is expected to make a return to SuperSport United on a permanent basis. Sundowns are open to letting him go, with so much competition already in the goalkeeping department. He was on loan to SuperSport for two seasons before his deal expired at the end of June.
The likes of Malebogo Modise, Siyanda Msani, Luvuyo Phewa, Promise Mkhuma, Nyiko Mobbie, Thabang Sibanyoni and Etiosa Ighodaro are not part of the team and are expected to leave again in the current transfer window. Mkhuma and Ighodaro are understood to have actually been released by Sundowns and will be in colours of different teams in the new campaign.
