CAF president Patrice Motsepe has revealed the host city for the 2024 Super Cup clash between fierce rivals Al Ahly and Zamalek.
This year's edition will see Egypt's two biggest side go a head-to-head after Al Ahly claimed the Champions League while Zamalek secured the Confederation Cup.
The African football governing body has announced that the clash will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Friday 27 September 2024.

The Confédération Africaine de Football ("CAF") President Dr Patrice Motsepe together with His Excellency Turki bin Abdulmohsen Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority ("GEA"), announced that Riyadh, Saudi Arabia will host the TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup Final 2024.
The TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup Final 2024 will feature the current winners of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League, Al Ahly SC and the current winners of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup, Zamalek SC and will be played on Friday 27 September 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
CAF will announce the venue and kick-off time of the match in due course.

"The partnership between CAF and Saudi Arabia is based on the excellent relationship and mutual commitment of both the parties," Motsepe said, as per the CAF website.
"CAF is excited to work together and partner with the General Entertainment Authority. We look forward to the TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup Final 2024 between two of the most popular and successful Clubs in Africa, namely Al Ahly and Zamalek."
