The first two preliminary rounds of the 2024/25 CAF Champions League campaign have officially been drawn.

The 2024/25 CAF interclub season is set to commence, and 54 of the continent's biggest teams now know who they will face in order to secure their place in the group stage of the Champions League.
The first preliminary round will be contested between 16 August and 18 August 2024, but Al Ahly, Esperance de Tunis, Petro de Luanda, TP Mazembe and Mamelodi Sundowns have all been exempted from that initial qualification stage.

Those five teams have automatically made it to the second preliminary round. Hoping to join them there will be other African heavyweights such as Raja Club Athletic, Pyramids FC and Young Africans.
