Following his surprise exit from Kaizer Chiefs, Siyethemba Sithebe has spoken fondly about having reunited with Cavin Johnson at the Soweto giants last season.
As Chiefs appointed Johnson as interim coach in October, it meant a reunion for Sithebe with the mentor, having previously worked together at AmaZulu FC.

After two seasons with Amakhosi with 39 appearances to his name, Sithebe was allowed to move on at the end of his contract and has since been unveiled at Richards Bay FC this week as one of the club's new signings.
Speaking exclusively to the Siya crew, the dreadlocked player explains the big role played by Johnson in the team despite the disappointing season the club experienced.
"He is a good coach, and obviously he had coached me before at AmaZulu and therefore it wasn't difficult for me to adapt to his style of play. He is one coach who is good at motivating his players. For example, if we didn't win a game, he would make sure to give us the best motivation ever to try and bring that positivity back to the guys in the way we were thinking," said Sithebe.

"His motivational talks helped us to remain calm and without putting too much pressure on ourselves. It was good working with him again, he's a good coach and everything about working with him was alright," concluded the Newcastle-born player.
