Al Ahly have reportedly provided an update on South African attacker Percy Tau, who has not featured for the first team in a while.
Tau last featured for the Red Devils in the CAF Champions League final second leg when they defeated Tunisian giants ES Tunis 1-0 back in May.

The 30-year-old picked up an injury during the international break while playing for Bafana Bafana against Nigeria, but Kooora have reported that the player has made strides.
The report claims that Tau's initial injury was not as simple as many thought, with the former Mamelodi Sudnowns star suffering a strain in the hamstring.
"The medical staff is closely monitoring the player's condition, and he needs about a week to recover and return to participating in group training again," the source told Kooora.

"The medical staff deals with muscle injuries with caution, so that rushing does not lead to their exacerbation or recurrence."
Marcel Koller's charges are currently deep in the Egyptian Premier League title race, as they currently sit second on the log, 11 points behind league leaders Pyramids although they have played four games less.
The Red Devils will be back in action on Monday evening against El Gaish.
