Official: Ex-Downs Attacker Unveiled At African Side

A former Mamelodi Sundowns star has secured a move to Mozambique giants UD Songo ahead of the new season.

 Luis Miquissone was on the books of Simba SC last season after leaving Al Ahly in 2023.

However, the  the 28-year-old has now returned to Mozambique to join Songo on a free transfer.

Statement:

The Sports Union of Songo (UDSongo) announces the return of Luis Miquissone to Songo.

Miquissone is back, after in the last four seasons representing Simba of Tanzania (2020 2023), El Ahly of Egypt (2021 2023), Abha of Saudi Arabia (2022).

In UDSongo, Miquissone won the 2016 Mozambique Cup and 2017 national championship.

The management of the Songo sports union welcomes Michigan
