Sancho 'Green-lights' Move To Euro Giants

Sancho 'Green-lights' Move To Euro Giants

With Manchester United reportedly actively looking to sell Jadon Sancho, the winger is now said to have agreed a move to one of Europe's biggest sides.

With Erik ten Hag staying on board as the Red Devils' head coach for at least the 2024/25 campaign, this means that the London native almost certainly does not have a future at Old Trafford after their relationship reached an irreparable point last season.

The 24-year-old spent the last six months of the previous campaign on loan at Borussia Dortmund, and while it is believed they would like to bring him back, United's asking price of between €40 million and €50 million (R796 million and R995 million) is deemed too high for the Bundesliga side.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Juventus are in agreement with the German side regarding that fee.

However, while it seems as though the aforementioned Premier League sides will likely look elsewhere to recruit in the wing positions, the Bianconeri and their new manager Thiago Motta remain big fans of Sancho, who is understood to have already given his approval to a switch to Italy.

Motta is said to be keen to implement a new formation at the club, and wingers are crucial to it, with the former Italy international believed to view the England international as a potential star in his team, but the transfer fee has proven a stumbling block.

The Old Lady are, however, not in a rush, and with Sancho's other suitors also unwilling to pay the mooted transfer fee, the same report claims that Juve are hopeful of securing his services on a loan deal.

When United were looking to loan Sancho out in January, he had agreed on a move to the Allianz Stadium, but it is said that then-Bianconeri boss Massimiliano Allegri vetoed the transfer. Now that they have seemingly returned for his services, his answer remains the same.
