Sources close to the club have indicated that while no deal has been finalized, discussions about bringing Sekgota to SuperSport United are set to occur.
"SuperSport United are believed to be looking at strengthening the squad as they have lost some players and also released others. So Kigi (Sekgota) is one of the players they are interested in. They have been mentioning him since he left Stellenbosch FC and it seems a deal is on the cards," the Siya source stated.
Another insider provided further insight into the recruitment process, suggesting that negotiations, while not yet underway, are expected to start soon.
"They are looking at wingers who can come in when Shandre (Campbell) is gone and they are looking at both former Kaizer Chiefs wingers in Keagan Dolly and Kgaogelo (Sekgota). There is no deal that is finalised yet but the possibilities are high depending on the talks. The good thing is that both of them are free agents at the moment and they can take their time to assess them and see if they fit into the coach's plans for next season. But the interest is there," the second insider stated.
