In La Furia Roja's opening match at the EUROs against Croatia, the La Masia alumni became the youngest ever player to provide an assist in the competition's history when Dani Carvajal connected to a cross from the youngster to make it 3-0.
In their most recent tournament encounter against Georgia on Sunday night, the Esplugues de Llobregat native added to his legend as he bagged another assist at the continental showpiece to make it two assists overall at the tournament.

According to Opta Stats, Yamal is now only the second teenager in EUROs history, since Ronaldo did it in the 2004 edition, to accumulate multiple assists at the same tournament.
Opta also stated that the tricky winger has become the first player since Zinedine Zidane, also at EURO 2004, to create more than five shots and five chances in a single game.
For all the chances he did create against Georgia, however, the teenage sensation is still yet to find the back of the net at these EUROs.

He will have the opportunity to rectify that in the quarter-finals against host nation Germany, and should he score, he will become the youngest-ever goalscorer in the spectacle's history.
