Cape Town City have confirmed their fourth signing ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, showing their intent to improve on last season's fifth place finish in the DStv Premiership.
Having already confirmed the arrivals of Haashim Domingo, Prins Tjiueza and Kayden Francis, the Citizens have enlisted the services of former Orlando Pirates midfielder Fortune Makaringe on a three-year deal.

City, who are set to play a friendly match against German side SV Wehen Wiesbaden on July 4, were quick to snap Makaringe up after the end of last season and will have valuable experience from a player who performed on the continent with his former club Orlando Pirates.
The 31-year-old Makaringe made 14 appearances in all competitions for the Buccaneers last season, struggling to break into the starting line-up on many occasions under head coach Jose Riveiro.
The Citizens, meanwhile, have parted ways with Bongani Mpandle, Thabiso Kutumela, Jo Paciencia, Khanya Leshabela and Relebogile Mokhuoane.
