Following the confirmation of Moroka Swallows' sale to Marumo Gallants, agent Mike Makaab will be working to finalise the future of Gabadinho Mhango, who has been linked with a move ahead of the new campaign.
Swallows has been sold to Gallants and the club will make a decision on which players they are going to have on board for the coming season, with some Dube Birds players currently unsure of what the future holds for them with this deal. The club plans on playing its matches in Bloemfontein and could be based there to save costs.

Mhango had one season left on his contract with Swallows and Makaab is going to enter into discussions to have the future of the player finalised in the coming weeks.
The Siya crew understands that both Sekhukhune United and SuperSport United have been monitoring the situation of the player and could make an offer to acquire his services.
"Gaba has an extra season on his contract with Swallows. Swallows have been in talks to sell their franchise and a lot depends on how that will transpire. I've always believed that one has to be loyal and committed to your employer, if your employer has been loyal and committed to you. I'd like to first see how these discussions pan out and then from there a decision will be made. It will be made in the sake of both entities. One will be Gabadinho Mhango and the other will be the football club that has purchased Moroka Swallows," Makaab said to the Siya crew.

"We are mindful of it and we are mindful of the fact that he has an existing contract, which expires in June 2025. Situations like this are always difficult, but I am a believer that most things in life happen for a reason. You can look at the journey in one of two ways, in a negative or positive way. In every single difficult situation, there will be good that comes from it, if this situation is handled in the right one. What I am excited about is that he showed tremendous form in the last few months of the season. He did what he was supposed to be doing, which was to score goals and I am hoping that Gaba will continue that in the new season."
The 31-year-old Mhango scored eight goals in all competitions for the club during the past season, adding one assist to his contribution upfront.
