The forward's contract at Cairo International Stadium is set to expire at the end of next season, and it seems the Club of the Century may be eager to cash in on the attacker.
According to Kooora, newly promoted Al Kholood, along with Al Wehda, are interested in landing the Bafana Bafana star's services.
It seems Al Kholood are the current frontrunners between the pair as the same report claims that they have already submitted a verbal offer to the Witbank native, and are in the process of preparing a formal bid.

Al Wehda, on the other hand, are believed to still be studying Tau's situation at Al Ahly and where he stands in the pecking order before they start seriously pursuing the 46-cap South Africa international.
It is still unclear whether or not the 30-year-old is part of Marcel Koller's plans for next season as there have been rumours that they had a fallout earlier this season.

This speculation was fuelled by the attacker seemingly fuming at being substituted during the second leg of the CAF Champions League final against Esperance de Tunis.
The former Brighton Hove Albion winger was later fined by his club, and it now looks as though clubs in the Middle East are eager to capitalise on the apparent uncertainty in Tau's future.
