Orlando Pirates have identified a highly rated attacker with a view to add to the squad for next season, the Siya crew has been informed.
Having completed the signing of Thalente Mbatha on a permanent deal from SuperSport United, while they are also believed to have an agreement for the services of Selaelo Rasebotja from the Tshwane giants, the Buccaneers are showing interest in Onke Moletshe from Venda Football Academy, as confirmed by close sources.

Moletshe has been impressive and consistent with his performances for VFA since joining the club from Jomo Cosmos in 2022.
As a reward for his contribution to the team and progress, the second tier outfit is said to be willing to allow the 24-year-old to go and further his career elsewhere.
"Onke Moletshe has done well for VFA in the last two seasons and his contribution to the team has been notable. The club is appreciative of his high work-rate and dedication, and as a reward the chairman won't stand in his way if a concrete offer is received from the PSL (top tier)," said the source.
Meanwhile, another source close to the club confirmed interest from Pirates in the player, while Mamelodi Sundowns are understood to have also been keeping a close eye.

"Pirates have been monitoring the player and have showed interest in his services. He is a player who can compete at a big team like Pirates and add value. He is in the same mould as players like Monnapule Saleng, Relebohile Mofokeng and Sanele Barns, just to mention a few. He's got pace and skill, just what you need from a winger, and he is a hard worker," the source said.
"Sundowns is another club that has been following the player although it is unclear at this stage if they will be making any formal approach," concluded the source.
