Croatia star Luka Modric has disagreed with Kylian Mbappe's recent remarks about the European Championship.
Mbappe recently reiterated his view that the European Championship is harder to win than the FIFA World Cup.
The French forward has already won one World Cup and has gone to back-to-back finals, while he's only reached the quarter-finals of European Championship.

Modric, however, does not agree and feels the World Cup is more difficult due to the likes of Argentina and Brazil's presence.
"I don't like to compare," Modric said in an interview with ESPN.
"You have the best teams at the Euro but at the World Cup, there are Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and great teams from other continents. I don't like to compare, I don't know.
"But for me maybe the World Cup is more difficult because there's more teams from around the world.
"I understand what Mbappe means, but for me, this is my opinion."
Croatia begin their European Championship campaign against two-time winners Spain on Saturday evening.
