The Kaizer Chiefs job might have eluded him for now, but a move for Alexandre Santos to the Soweto giants isn't being ruled out for the future.
Santos is one of the coaches that has been linked with a move to Chiefs as the club will be finalising plans for pre-season in the coming weeks.

Having had talks with Amakhosi, the Portuguese coach has since moved on after he and the club failed to reach an agreement about taking over the reigns this winter.
The 47-year-old mentor is getting himself ready for a new role in Tunisia, having agreed a deal with the country's football giants, CS Sfaxien according to sources, while indications are that Chiefs are in advanced talks with their long-term target Nasreddine Nabi.
"The coach (Santos) was really looking forward to the Chiefs move but it didn't happen and there's nothing that anyone can do. It's part of what happens sometimes in the industry, and he's had to move on," said the source.

"In football, you can never say never and maybe another opportunity (at Chiefs) will present itself in future, who knows? But for now, he is looking forward to a new chapter in his career in Tunisia. He has made peace with the fact that the Chiefs deal didn't happen," concluded the source.
