Reports across Europe claim City striker Julian Alvarez is being closely monitored by a number of teams, including Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
The 24-year-old signed for the Citizens from River Plate in 2022, and has already contributed to 54 goals in 103 appearances under Pep Guardiola.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the Premier League champions are yet to receive any formal proposals for Alvarez, who helped Argentina win the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Clubs in England are also believed to have shown interest in the 29-year-old Argentina international, who was also part of his nation's 2021 Copa America-winning group.
Romano reports that City are hoping to keep Alvarez at the Etihad Stadium ahead of next season, and that discussions between the club and his camp will be held over his future.
Alvarez is just 10 goals away from having scored 100 goals at club level across all competitions, after he struck 54 times in 22 matches for River between 2019 and 2022.
