A return to Gauteng could be on the cards for Hendrick 'Pule' Ekstein, as he is likely to begin a new chapter in his career for the 2024/25 season.
Having joined Usuthu in 2021, Ekstein appears to have come to the end of his spell with the KwaZulu-Natal outfit after competing an improved season with 30 appearances across all competitions.

"Pule Ekstein won't be at AmaZulu next season, and he too already knows. His contract is coming to an end and a decision has been reached for him and the club to part ways," said the source.
"The boy won't be short of options on where to go following the season he has had, and he is working on that. There are a few clubs in the PSL that have showed interest in his services, and he is weighing his options," he concluded.

According to sources, Sekhukhune United have showed interest in the former Kaizer Chiefs attacking midfielder with a view for the Gauteng-based Limpopo outfit to offer him a deal.
The Bekkersdal-born player previously played in Azerbaijan for two different clubs after leaving Chiefs in 2021.
