"Real Madrid CF and Kylian Mbappé have reached an agreement whereby he will be a Real Madrid player for the next five seasons," the club announced in a statement.
Mbappe struck on 256 occasions in 308 appearances, and will now begin a new chapter at the reigning continental champions, whom he has been strongly linked with for many years now.
The Frenchman is expected to be officially unveiled after the upcoming 2024 UEFA European Championship, where he will lead Les Bleus.
In joining Real, he adds to the club's talent-filled attacking contingent which already consists of Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes.
Mbappe spent time at Los Blancos as a young kid before making his professional debut for Monaco in the 2016/17 season.
