While Amakhosi are yet to give an indication on who might take charge of the team for the 2024/25 campaign, Mamelodi Sundowns senior coach Manqoba Mngqithi has emerged as a favourite for the job along several other big-name candidates, including some from outside the boarders of Mzansi.

Stylianou believes that Chiefs should take their search for a new coach beyond the borders of Mzansi for the team to improve.
"I don't think there is a coach in South Africa at this stage … maybe one or two, but I can't see any coach within our borders who can coach Kaizer Chiefs. He has to come from across the border and he has to be a very good coach," said Stylianou.
