Another European club has entered the race for the signature of highly-rated SuperSport United youngster, Ime Okon.
As previously reported by the Siya crew, a number of teams are understood to be interested in the defender.
The 20-year-old has attracted interest from Dutch club PEC Zwolle, Danish side Midtjyiland FC and information reaching the Siya crew is that Portuguese Liga 2 side Clube Desportivo Nacional have enquired about the Bafana Bafana defender.

Sources have revealed that CD Nacional have made contact with SuperSport, in the hopes of a move at the end of the season.
"Yes, there are several teams in different European countries who are interested in Ime (Okon) and have inquired about him. The team from Portugal is in their second division Liga B and it's CD Nacional. They don't want him to go for trials. They want to sign him straight away at least at the end of the season. But it will also depend on the interest and offers from the other clubs as well," a source informed the Siya crew.

"What the team is looking at is a good move for the youngster. They don't want him to just move to any league or club just for the sake of it. They will be looking at a move which will give the player the needed growth for him both as a player and as a person. They will also look at a league or club which will have an impact on him as a national team player so it won't be as simple as it looks right now," the source added.
Soccer Laduma contacted SuperSport United CEO Stan Matthews who confirmed the enquiry from Portugal.
"We have interest from Portugal, Holland and Sweden," Matthews said.
