Reports emerging from Europe state that Hugo Broos is open to taking up a new job in Europe just one month after leading Bafana Bafana to a third-place finish at the Africa Cup of Nations.

According to Belgian website HLN.com Broos is open to returning to club football, though this time away from the dugout, where he has been approached for the Technical Director role at his former side, Club Brugge.
The 71-year-old's presence at a recent game sparked further rumours of the purported move.
The website stated that although Broos is not the Belgian giants' only option, he has engaged in several formal and informal talks with the club's management.
Broos does have a contract with the South African Football Association until June 2026 – but it is understood that he will make a return to South Africa to discuss his future with SAFA's hierarchy.
The former KVC Oostende coach has had an impressive record with Bafana since taking over in 2021, winning 16 of the 30 matches he has overseen, while eight of those have ended in draws.
He has only suffered six defeats with the national team.
With Broos expected back in the country in the coming days, it remains to be seen what his future as the Bafana Bafana head coach entails…
