A reported Kaizer Chiefs target seems to be on his way to Stellenbosch FC from Richards Bay, the Siya crew has been informed.
Siya sources close to the player and the club have indicated that Sanele Barns could have signed a pre-contract with Stellies.

Sources have added that the transfer to the Western Cape club could go ahead at the end of this season.
"As it stands now I can tell you that (Stellies) have agreed a deal which will be effective from July this year. They have agreed on a long term deal though all the details will be finalised when he starts training with the team in the off season," said the Siya source.
"On a personal level it's very good for the player. It's an upgrade for the player and there was no way he could have turned down the deal and the move," the source added.
A second Siya source reminded readers that Chiefs were interested in Barns too as reported on Soccer Laduma in the past, and discussed why things have changed since then.
"Yes, Chiefs were interested in him. They wanted him at the beginning of the season and also in January but they were not in a hurry and Stellenbosch were serious and apparently offered him a pre-contract. It is believed they had agreed on terms and he agreed and it seems things are going well as he could join at the end of the current season," the second source told Soccer Laduma.
The 26-year-old Barns had joined Richards Bay FC when they were promoted to the DStv Premiership two seasons ago. He had signed a two-year contract which is ending in June this year.
Soccer Laduma contacted Stellenbosch FC for a comment on the story.
"Thanks for reaching out. The club does not comment on transfer speculation," Stellies media officer Liam Bekker told Soccer Laduma.
