According to The Athletic, Erik ten Hag's assistant Eric Ramsay is close to being named as Minnesota United's new head coach.
At 32 years old, he is expected to become the youngest-ever first-team manager in MLS history.
Ramsay has been at the Red Devils since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's reign and stayed following Ralf Rangnick's arrival as interim boss in 2021.
It is believed his importance has only increased since Ten Hag was hired by United in 2022, with many regarding Ramsay as a talented coach with a bright future.
The decision to target and approach the Englishman has come following the arrival of new Minnesota United sporting director Khaled El-Ahmad.
Several coaches were said to be interviewed during the club's search after Adrian Heath's departure last year.
