With Kylian Mbappe's deal at Paris Saint-Germain expiring at the end of the season, there has reportedly been an important update on the Real Madrid-linked forward's future.

According to Spanish publication AS, the 25-year-old will soon inform the French giants whether or not he has decided to pen a new deal in Paris.
Mbappe has long been linked with the 14-time UEFA Champions League winners, whom he went close to signing for in 2022 before a late change of heart saw him renew his stay in Ligue 1.
The report claims he is prepared to communicate his decision to PSG in February, although it remains uncertain as to whether or not he will once again commit to the French champions.
As of 1 January, Mbappe has been able to listen to proposals from interest parties outside of France, with Los Blancos still considered the favourites to land his signature should he move on from the Parc des Princes.
The France captain made headlines last year when he told Les Parisiens he would not be extending his contract in 2024, actions for which he was punished by club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Mbappe was left out of PSG's pre-season tour as a result and was instead made to train in Paris, but was later brought back into the fold following discussions with the Qatari businessman.
It is believed the former Monaco starlet will need to accept a significant pay cut if he wishes to sign for another club in Europe, after PSG made him the continent's highest-paid player a season and a half ago.
