DStv Premiership stars Peter Shalulile and Deon Hotto have already helped make history for Namibia at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, but more could be made when the Brave Warriors take on Angola this weekend.
Earlier this week, following a goalless draw with Mali in Group E, Namibia secured a place in the competition's round of 16 for the first time.
The Brave Warriors have been led by their captain Shalulile of Mamelodi Sundowns, who is yet to open his account at the tournament, and Orlando Pirates attacker Hotto, who scored the all-important winner in their opening group encounter against Tunisia.
Alongside second-placed South Africa and group winners Mali, Namibia, with four points, advanced to the knockout phase of the Africa Cup of Nations as one of the best third-placed teams in Ivory Coast.
Going into Saturday's last 16 match, the stage is set for Collin Benjamin's team to make even more history as the Brave Warriors look to claim their first-ever victory over Angola.
According to NBC, the two national teams have met on 11 occasions in the past, with Namibia having never got one over their upcoming opponents.
The match will be held at Stade Bouake at 19:00 South African time.
