Following a 0-0 draw against a struggling Tunisia, Bafana Bafana secured a second-place finish in Group E at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Twitter/X was a buzz after the match which confirmed Bafana's progression to the Round of 16, where they will face Morocco.

Fans react to Bafana Bafana progressing to AFCON Round of 16
A loss to Mali, a thumping win over Namibia and a stalemate against Tunisia was enough to see Hugo Broos' Bafana Bafana side progress to the next round of AFCON.
South Africa kept back-to-back clean sheets in their last two games Group stage matches, scoring four goals and only conceding two, resulting in them finishing second in Group E ahead of Namibia on goal difference.
On Tuesday, Bafana will hope for a repeat of their last encounter against the Moroccans, overcoming the Atlas Lions at the FNB Stadium, 2-1.

I'm happy with us progressing, also impressed by the fact we went toe to toe against a country ranking 3rd in the African continent. A bit disappointed we didn't push harder for a win, given this game was there for the taking. We really need to be a constant feature at AFCON.
