Orlando Pirates and Chippa United could engage in a player swap deal with Thabiso Lebitso linked to the Buccaneers lately, the Siya crew understands.

Siya sources privy to information have now indicated that there could be players involved in a swap deal from Pirates to Chippa.
The sources added that the players who could be involved in such a swap, may be Bienvenu Eva Nga or Azola Matrose for Lebitso.
"For now there have been discussions. You know Chippa may lose two players. One to Pirates (expected to be Lebitso) and another to AmaZulu (Augustine Mulenga who's already left) and they need to replace those players," said the Siya source who expects Lebitso to be announced as a Bucs player soon.
"That's why they are talking to Pirates for a player swap. They proposed Eva Nga and Azola Matrose but things could change depending on who Pirates are willing to let go and other conditions as well. But they are talking," the source told Soccer Laduma.
A second Siya source added that the potential swap could also depend on which players and positions Chippa want to strengthen and if Pirates are ready to release those players.
"It's not an easy decision for Pirates to make. They have to be sure that they won't need those players whom Chippa are proposing. It may not be the ones Pirates are willing to let go," said the Siya source.
"They have to look maybe at the fringe players whom the technical team don't feel they will need in the second half of the season. So let's wait and see before the end of the transfer window period what will happen," the source observed.
Meanwhile, Siya sources have indicated this afternoon that Eva Nga's contract might have been terminated by Pirates. Whether this means he could be used in such a swap deal or a different arrangement altogether, remains to be seen.
Soccer Laduma contacted both Chippa United and Pirates for comment but no response has been received while preparing this story.
