Tottenham Hotspurs' Yves Bissouma headlines coach Eric Sekou Chelle's squad as the final team of Group E announces its squad for the upcoming tournament.
Captain Hamari Traore of Real Sociedad and Al Ahly's Aliou Dieng are other notable inclusions in the selection that is set to take on South Africa, Tunisia and Namibia.
While the aforementioned players will likely have big roles for the team in the coming weeks, Les Aigles will be without the services of star players Ibrahima Kone of Almeria, Crystal Palace's Cheick Doucoure and former TP Mazembe star Adama Traore, who all miss out through injury.
Mali have made it out the group stage in their past two involvements in the competition, but achieved their best finish at an AFCON during their first-ever participation in 1972, when they finished as runners-up to the People's Republic of the Congo.
Before coming up against Hugo Broos' charges, the Brave Warriors and the Carthage Eagles, Mali will play a pre-tournament friendly against Guinea-Bissau on 6 January as they conclude preparations prior to heading to the Ivory Coast.
