'I Could Leave Tomorrow!' – Pep Addresses Man City Future

'I Could Leave Tomorrow!' – Pep Addresses Man City Future

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed the latest on his future at the Citizens after questions surrounding the 115 charges the treble champions are facing from the Premier League.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, the Spaniard fielded questions relating to his stay at the Manchester-based giants ahead of his side's European tie against RB Leipzig on Tuesday night.

Guardiola joined City in 2016 and has since claimed an incredible 15 trophies, including five league titles and the UEFA Champions League.

His future, however, has become a hot topic once again amid the financial breaches the Citizens have been accused of after Everton's charge resulted in a 10-point deduction.

The 52-year-old has suggested he is still feeling comfortable and enthusiastic in England, but seemingly refused to provide clarity on what his future holds.

"I have energy. I'm not going to answer," he said, according to Eurosport.

"One year and a half is a lot of time in football. I arrived here with long hair and look what happened."

The ex-Barcelona and Bayern Munich tactician was then asked if he would consider extending his deal at the club beyond 2025.

"Yeah, of course can leave tomorrow ([too)," he responded.

"I would have loved the team that won 100 points (in the 2017/18 season) to stay eternally. At all the clubs this happens."

Guardiola has overseen 433 matches to date for City, winning a staggering 319 of them and losing just 63 times.
