Manchester United have reportedly confirmed their stance on manager Erik ten Hag's future after the team's two consecutive 3-0 defeats to Manchester City and Newcastle United at Old Trafford.

Amid rumours that the Red Devils have started their search for a new head coach, the club is seemingly backing the 53-year-old to turn things around in Manchester.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, United have denied they are looking to replace the Dutch tactician despite the team's poor start to the 2023/24 campaign.
The 20-time English champions have called the reports "categorically false" as United prepare to take on Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
With five wins and five losses in the league this term so far, Ten Hag's men are currently eighth on the table and have already been knocked out of the Carabao Cup.
United suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat to Newcastle at home on Wednesday night to get dumped out of the competition they won last season.
The result followed their 3-0 loss to crosstown rivals in the Premier League this past weekend.
Supporters have voiced their frustration with the team's performances this term and have, on multiple occasions, been seen leaving Old Trafford early.
Initially, Red Devils fans were delighted with the impact Ten Hag had in his first campaign in England as he inspired the team to two cup finals and a third-place finish in the league.

For now, however, it appears a managerial change has not been discussed by the board amid the uncertainty surrounding the Glazers' future in Manchester.
