According to ESPN, the Englishman's time at Old Trafford looks to be coming to an end. The publication reports that as long as Erik ten Hag is still manager of the Red Devils, the winger's future at the club is almost non-existent.
The pair are currently embroiled in stand-off following their public spat. Sancho has not played for the Mancunians since August after the London native refuted his manager's sentiments, on Twitter, as to why he was not included in the matchday squad for a Premier League encounter against Arsenal.
The 23-year-old has since been banished from the first team for his refusal to apologise to the Dutchman, and it seems the club is willing to back the manager's stance on the matter by endorsing the attacker's potential departure on loan in January.
Many top clubs are rumoured to be interested in the skilful attacker, but the same report claims that Borussia Dortmund have emerged as a serious contender that could possibly lure Sancho out of the Theatre of Dreams.
BVB and the player are believed to have maintained a strong relationship in the wake of his departure from the Signal Iduna Park in 2021, while he has also reportedly maintained contact with manager Edin Terzic.

The 23-cap England international's return to Germany will, however, likely be contingent on United still paying a part of the forward's massive wages of £300 000 (R 6.9 million) a week.
