The 31-year-old Al Hilal attacker was stretchered off late in the first half of the Selecao's loss in the early hours of Wednesday morning after sustaining an apparent knee injury.

In the 44th minute, Neymar hit the ground hard after falling during a run and immediately grab a hold of his left knee in what was a concerning moment for his teammates and opponents.
The Brazilian seemed distraught as he was carried off the field on a stretcher, but the extent of his injury is unknown for now, according to team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar.
"We did all the tests and we will repeat them tomorrow. Those 24 hours are key to see how his knee will respond, how swollen it will be and what images will show," he said, according to the Daily Mail.
"Let's wait for the exams with calmness, evaluate with calmness and tell you once we have a diagnosis."

Neymar has suffered multiple serious injuries since leaving Barcelona in 2017 and there is a worry he could be set for yet another lengthy spell on the sidelines.
