Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena has come out to say it's not fair for Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos to say the club has not been communicating well when it comes to injuries.
Broos revealed that he was not impressed with communication on the injuries of players at Sundowns, in particular Khuliso Mudau and Thapelo Maseko.

Mudau was out injured before Bafana Bafana's recent international friendlies against Namibia and DR Congo and was subsequently left out by Broos, but the right back returned to action for the Premiership just two days before the national team went into camp, in an MTN8 second leg semi-final clash against Kaizer Chiefs.
Broos was surprised to see Mudau in action for Sundowns after leaving him out of his South Africa squad, but Mokwena came to the defence of his club by stating that the Tshwane giants always communicate when players are not available through injury.
"Mudau was injured and missed a few games for us. I remember he missed Stellies, Chiefs and he was also suspended. One thing I like about Mamelodi Sundowns, and you've got to give them a lot of credit, is that we post our injuries on social media before every single match. We give detailed updates on the injuries, so I don't think it's fair to say that Sundowns don't communicate about the injuries of the players," Mokwena said after the launch of the Carling Knockout competition earlier this week.
"I think it's far-fetched and I've got to come to the defence of the club in that instance, because I think the club goes out of its way to make sure, not only for the Bafana coach, but for the Sundowns supporters. They want to know when some of their best players are not on the pitch and they want to know why, and the club goes out of its way to make sure they give as much information and clarity with regards to availability and non-availability of players. I think it's a little bit far-fetched to put that blame on the football club. Even though I know that I will speak to the Bafana Bafana coach (Broos) about that statement, I think it's important from a public perspective that I come to the defence of the football club in this instance."
