Hyde Park was the venue for the launch and draw of the new tournament by the Premier Soccer League and Carling Black Label for the brand new competition that replaces the Telkom Knockout.
All 16 DStv Premiership teams were added to the competition, veering away from its old format which included only Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs.
A twist in the tournament was the fact that the top eight teams from the 2022/23 season would be seeded, meaning that they couldn't play against each other.
The tournament is set to kick off later this month with the venue for the matches yet to be confirmed.
The fixtures:
Sekhukhune United vs Royal AM
Orlando Pirates vs Cape Town Spurs
SuperSport United vs Polokwane City
