For the first time since FIFA 07, neither Messi or Ronaldo are the top-rated player on an EA Sports game.
EA released the ratings for their 24 of their highest ranked stars, with Lionel Messi being replaced at the top and Cristiano Ronaldo dropping below the 90-mark.

EA Sports FC Top 24 impacts CR7 Messi
EA Sports has confirmed the top 24 highest-rated players in EA FC 24, with Messi downgrading and Ronaldo not featuring altogether.
With the release of EA FC 24 edging closer, with it also being EA's first football game without FIFA title, the publisher has now revealed the top 24 highest-rated players in its new title, with male and female players featuring.
The Ultimate Team mode will feature both men and women for the first time, with three men and one women's player sharing the highest-rated player bragging rights for the upcoming EA FC 24.
The highest-rated player spot was either held by Ronaldo or Messi since EA Sport's FIFA 07 and is now shared between Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, Alexis Putellas and Kevin De Bruyne, who are all rated at 91.

Inter Milan's Messi sits in sixth place in the top 24 with downgraded 90-rating despite helping Argentina win the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, with his long-term rival Ronaldo dropping down from the elite 90's-rating zone.
According to on Twitter/X @Fut_Scoreboard, Ronaldo will receive and 86-rating, the same as his Al-Nassr teammate Sadio Mane.
