However, if teams are still looking to bolster their squad, they can can dip into the free agent market.

Goalkeeper David de Gea remains without a club after ending his 12-year association with Premier League rivals Manchester United.

The Spaniard was linked with a move to Bayern Munich due to Manuel Neuer's recovery, but the Germans opted to move in another direction.

De Gea is not the only high-profile Spaniard without a team, as veteran defender Sergio Ramos remains on the look out after leaving Paris Saint-Germain.

Ramos was reportedly keen on a return to Sevilla, where he made his professional debut, but the LaLiga outfit decided against the move as they are already stacked in that department.

One surprising name on the free agent market includes Belgian winger Eden Hazard, who terminated his contract with Los Blancos a year earlier to begin a new challenge.

Despite the links with the Premier League in recent months, the 32-year-old remains without a club with one month of the season already gone.
