The 23-year-old forward was named the UEFA Men's Player of the Year for the 2022/23 campaign at an awards ceremony in Monaco on Thursday following his record-breaking debut season with the Citizens.
Haaland scored 52 goals to help inspire the Citizens to a treble, with his latest award coming shortly after he scooped up the Premier League's Player of the Season prize.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Norway international was asked who was scarier between Guardiola and his father Alf-Inge Haaland, who also played for City during his career, and the striker admitted to not minding when his manager is stern with him.
"Good question. Sometimes Pep is a bit scary, I have to say. But my father can also be a bit scary," he said, according to the Daily Mail.
"But anyways this is something I like, I like it when Pep shouts at me because he tries to get something in my brain that he doesn't think I have.
"So I like it, I'm not complaining at all, he just wants to make me a better footballer so I'm not complaining at all."
This comes after Guardiola was criticised for appearing frustrated when giving Haaland instructions during the half-time interval of City's opening league match of the campaign against Burnley.
