The legendary forward joined Al Ittihad earlier this year when his contract at Real Madrid expired in a move that took the footballing world by surprise.
Following a bright start to life in the Middle East, Benzema has battled to find form in the Saudi Pro League so far, having failed to score in their opening two matches of the 2023/24 season.
According to Saudi outlet Asharq Al-Awsat, head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has expressed his discontent with Benzema's form and believes the forward does not suit his style.
Furthermore, it is claimed the Portuguese tactician has even complained that he did not request the signing of the 35-year-old, who became one of the world's highest-paid players with his move to Al Ittihad.

Benzema, meanwhile, has reportedly told the Saudi negotiator who lured him to the country that he feels mistreated by Santo, after the manager refused to make him the club captain despite his status and vast experience.
