The latest Brazil squad has been released for the upcoming international break, but one of the star players has been left out after a betting scandal.
Selecao begin their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign next month, as they take on Boliva on 8 September before taking on Peru a few days later.

There might have been talk about Neymar missing out on the Brazil squad after his move to Saudi side Al-Hilal, but the player has made his return to the national team.
However, West Ham United midfielder Lucas Paqueta was left out of the squad as he is reportedly being investigated for breaching betting rules.
The investigation has seen Paqueta's move to Manchester City fall through and he will now miss the upcoming World Cup qualifiers for the five-time world champions.
"Paqueta was on the list, he's a player I like a lot. It's a time for him to resolve these issues," Coach Diniz told reporters, as per Reuters.
"People need time to sort these issues out. He's a player I love, I have the best impressions of him."
