Manchester City have reportedly made a decision on entering the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe has been frozen out from the first team squad after he confirmed he will not be signing an extension, with his current contract set to expire at the end of this coming season.
The PSG hierarchy are reportedly convinced that Mbappe already has an agreement with Real Madrid to join on a free transfer and are now looking to offload the player during the current transfer window.

Reports surfaced this week that PSG had already accepted a world-record bid from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, but Mbappe had no desire to enter discussions over a potential transfer.
The Athletic have reported that Man City are not planning to make the move despite having the financial strength to seal a deal for the French World Cup winner.
Athletic journalist David Ornstein recently revealed on Rio Ferdinand's FIVE YouTube channel that while there may be interest from the Premier League, neither team will make a deal.
"Many have raised that possibility, whether it's realistic or not, I'm pretty doubtful. You've got an enormous salary there which, not many Premier League clubs, if any, could finance and comply with financial fair play rules," Ornstein said.
"There have been suggestions that maybe only Man City could do this deal, especially if it was a transfer fee involved.
"Of course, they all like him, who wouldn't like him? There'll be interest from every club, there'd be admiration from Chelsea, from Manchester United, from Arsenal, from Man City, from Liverpool, but that doesn't mean they're going to be able to do this deal."
