Inter Miami's head coach has reportedly made a decision on Lionel Messi following the Argentine's magical debut in the United States on the weekend.

The 36-year-old made his first appearance for his new club in the early hours of Saturday morning, scoring a 94th-minute winner in the Herons' 2-1 victory over Cruz Azul in the Leagues Cup.
Messi was introduced as a substitute in the 54th minute, along with Sergio Busquets, and impressed as he struck a perfectly executed free-kick to mark his arrival with a bang.

According to TyC Sports, manager Gerardo "Tata" Martino has already decided the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner will start against Atlanta United on Wednesday.
Some expected that the ex-Barcelona captain would have again been named on the bench due to the little training he has done this past month.

The report claims Busquets is also in line for a full debut in the team's second Leagues Cup match of the campaign, with Inter Miami looking to make it two wins from two matches.
