Despite being signed on a short-term contract, believed to be specifically for pre-season, 35-year-old Jonny Evans will not travel to the US for the team's preparations for the coming campaign.
Brazilian midfielder Fred will also not be on the plane due to "personal issues", while Alex Telles and Eric Bailly, who recently returned from loan spells outside of England, were left behind, with reports suggesting both defenders will soon be moved on.
Mason Greenwood, who has been suspended since January 2022, has also not been included in Ten Hag's squad amid rumours the Red Devils are closing in on a decision over the 21-year-old forward's future.
Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana, meanwhile, is expected to join up with his soon-to-be teammates in north America once his arrival from Inter Milan is announced.
