A decision is close to being made on where veteran striker Ndumiso Mabena is likely to play next season after parting ways with Orlando Pirates.
After a shock move back to the Buccaneers in January, following his much publicised exit from Royal AM, Mabena found himself as a free agent at the end of the season when he was released from the Soweto giants alongside the likes of Craig Martin, Nkanyiso Zungu, Ntsako Makhubela and Kopano Thuntsane.

Rise and Shine are interested in the forward to add experience in their squad, with the club hoping to do well in their first season back in the topflight.
"Ndumiso Mabena has surfaced at Polokwane City and is set to have talks with the club regarding joining the team. He travelled yesterday (Tuesday) to join the team at the Ranch Resort in Polokwane where the team is having their pre-season camp," said the source.

"He hasn't signed yet but the club is interested in his services as one of the experienced players who are available at the moment. The club is hoping for a good start in the new season in the topflight and Mabena is one of the players who could play a big role in helping them to achieve that if all goes according to plan in the negotiations," concluded the source.
