Kicker journalist Georg Holzner has claimed that the Senegalese has already been told by the club that he is not considered important to their plans for the coming campaign.
Mane, 31, endured a difficult debut season in the Bundesliga, but has publicly revealed his intentions to continue at the Bavarians.
Earlier this week, it was reported that the reigning league champions would be willing to sell him for around €20 million (R404 million) in this transfer window.
The Senegal international caused a stir earlier this year when he punched teammate Leroy Sane following a UEFA Champions League defeat to Manchester City.
Teams in Saudi Arabia are reportedly offering the winger lucrative opportunities, with Bayern believed to be hoping to get his high salary of their books.
