Word reaching the Siya crew is that DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundown are deep into preparations for a trip to Europe for pre-season.
While details are still sketchy at the moment, it's believed that the club is expecting to leave for Europe in about two weeks to prepare for what's expected to be another busy season of juggling both domestic and continental football.

The Siya crew has been led to believe that Sundowns have identified the Netherlands as a destination to prepare for the new season.
Sundowns have previously travelled on the continent during pre-season, but it appears they are going to step it up a notch with a trip to Europe. Indications are that they will play friendly matches there, but the opposition names have not been confirmed to the Siya crew yet.
Sundowns are believed to have secured the services of Junior Mendieta from Stellenbosch, as well as Brazilian striker Everton Moraes, and they are expected to form part of the trip for pre-season. Another player who Sundowns are looking to bring in is Lesiba Nku from Marumo Gallants.

Another club expected to go to Europe for pre-season is Soweto giants Orlando Pirates, who will also be competing in the Champions League in the coming campaign. The Buccaneers will be playing friendly matches there, including against a club from Israel, to ensure they are ready to tackle the new campaign under head coach Jose Riveiro.
