Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe has responded to claims that France president Emmanuel Macron has an influence on his future.
The Frenchman was once again in the headlines this week after he revealed he is not planning to extend his contract beyond next season.
The links with Real Madrid were once again brought up especially after Karim Benzema made a switch to Saudi Pro League.

The World Cup winner says he is planning to stay at PSG next season and also played down talk of Macron influencing his decision about his future.
"What influence does the president have? On my career today, in 2023, none. He wants me to stay in Paris, my objective is to stay. We're on the same wavelength," Mbappe told reporters, as per Goal.
"Am I going to leave PSG? I've already answered, I've said that my objective is to stay at PSG, that's my only option at the moment. I'm ready to come back when preseason resumes.
"I didn't think a letter killed anyone or that I had offended anyone."
The Ligue 1 champions now find themselves in a predicament, as they could sell him in the current transfer window or lose him on a free transfer next year.
